Poshter Boyz - Movie Review

Movie Review:

Three guys – an angry youngster (Aniket Vishwasrao), a school teacher (Rishikesh Joshi), and an aged farmer (Dilip Prabhavalkar) find themselves in an awkward situation when they find their photos on a poster promoting vasectomy (nasbandi). The storyline is humorous enough to make the movie interesting. Isn’t it?

Poshter boyz takes on a key social issue driven by a sensible concept, well-framed script and consistent double meaning (but not vulgar) humour. All the 3 leads – veteran Dilip Prabhavalkar, terrific Hrishikesh Joshi and promising Aniket Vishwasrao, shows good chemistry in acting and dialogue delivery. Neha Joshi and Pooja Sawant looks charming on screen and delivers their role flawlessly.

Music composer Leslie Lewis has made an excellent Marathi film debut. Producers Deepti and Shreyas Talpade, also played a guest appearance along with Rohit Shetty, Farah Khan and Anu Malik adding icing on the cake.

The Bottom Line: Poshter Boyz is a non-stop ROFL with a sensible social message. Not to be missed!
