Mumbai 125 KM - Movie Review

Movie Review:

There is nothing new in the story of Mumbai 125KM. Five friends traveling to Mumbai for a new year eve party through a jungle in night come across strange events and murders, when they are 125KM away from Mumbai. The entire movie revolves around a woman in white costume (Veena Malik), the ghost, who wants to kill drunk party crazy guys who drive hastily, as she got killed with her family in a similar accident. One by one she starts killing this group of 5 friends to take her revenge.

Veena Malik, acting as ghost is not at all scary, rather she can make you laugh in few scenes. Karanvir Bohra as prem is pretty average, so as the other 4 lead actors. Acting seems to be most ignored part of Mumbai 125KM.

The story, direction & screenplay is disappointing, to say the least. Background music is fine to certain extent, but still nowhere close to excite the audience. The visual effects, color combination and 3D effects is terrible.

The Bottom Line: Mumbai 125KM is one of the most disappointing horror movie released lately. You might find super flops like 3 AM and Creature 3D much better. Give this a Miss!
