Remember Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge? Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania is a tribute to DDLJ with refreshing characters, peppy numbers, romance, comedy and marriage drama. Its the second movie of Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhat together after “Student of the Year” and they have lived to the expectations. The chemistry between them is charming which makes the movie more engrossing for Viewers.
Kavya (Alia Bhat) is dulhania – who agrees to marry NRI boy Angad (Sidharth) of her Bauji’s (Ashutosh Rana) choice. Kavya goes to Delhi to buy her wedding dress, where she meets Humpty (Varun Dhawan). They start loving each other over meetings, conversations, Coffee and Parties.
Humpty has to convince Kavya’s father to take home his dulhania. This is the time when we start resembling the movie with DDLJ, how Raj won the trust of Bauji and took home her Simran.
Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania has plenty of cheerful moments, but nothing exceptional to think and talk about when you leave from movie hall. Its limited to fun and to have some great off time with your family and friends.
Bottom Line: Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania is a tribute to DDLJ with refreshing characters, peppy numbers, romance, comedy and marriage drama. Worth a watch!
