Furious 7- Movie Review

Movie Review:

Fast & Furious 7 moves ahead from its Sixth sequel. Ian Shaw (Jason Statham) is out of take revenge of his younger brother Owen Shaw, who was killed by Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his team. The only way out for Dominic and his team Brian (Paul Walker), Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), Roman (Tyrese Gibson) and Tej (Ludacris) is to find Ian Shaw and kill him. Frank (Kurt Russell) approaches Dominic and team-up with him to escape Ramsey (Nathalie Emmanuel), a hacker who has designed a secret tracking device “God’s Eye”, from Jakande (Djimon Hounsou), which can ultimately help Dominic to find Ian Shaw and track him down.

James Wan after his excellent work in Conjuring (2013), Insidious (2010) & Insidious Chapter 2 (2013) has come up with another breathtaking craft. Packed with superstars, the movie is nicely directed in US, Azerbaijan Dubai & LA. Furious 7 is filled with high-speed driving, chases and dashing of beautiful sports cars, high voltage stunts and plenty of blazing guns and bullets.

Vin Diesel and Jason Statham in lead role are excellent. Paul Walker has given one of his most memorable performances. His stunts in the escape scene of Ramsey is phenomenal and probably the best part of the movie. Michelle Rodriguez & Nathalie Emmanuel looks gorgeous throughout, but Tyrese Gibson steals the show with his implacable comic timing. His chemistry with Ludacris is truly a joy ride. Jordana Brewster, Dwayne Johnson, Kurt Russell & Djimon Hounsou did well in their minimal appearances.

The Bottom Line: Furious 7 has all the ingredient covered of being a good action movie with element of humane touch. Its indeed a true tribute to Paul Walker. I would rate Furious 7 slightly better then its prequels.
